IL GOP Senators: Some never fail to Disappoint!

Once again, some Senators of the Illinois Republican Party failed to uphold the platform of the Illinois Republican Party. 

This time it occurred in the Illinois State Senate when 11 Republican State Senators violated the Illinois Republican Platform by voting for SB 2185, better known as the Illinois Dream Act, or as I like to call it- The Illinois Nightmare Act.

An Unpopular, Ill-advised and Expensive Bill

First of all, this bill addresses what is a federal problem and it spends money that our state does not have. The State of Illinois is $12 Billion in the hole this fiscal year, and rather than addressing the financial crisis that we are facing, they are actually increasing state spending. Moreover, we should not be offering incentives to violators of immigration laws.

Voting for the Dream Act shows that the following Republican Senators do not understand or value the power of the conservative grassroots, the Tea Party, and other Patriot groups.

These 11 State Republican Senators must be held accountable for violating the principles of the Illinois Republican Party.

The Future of Our Party!

Unlike those 11 Republican Senators who violated the Republican Platform and disenfranchised the Republican voters, there is a group of Republican Senators that deserve a heartfelt thank you for standing up for our shared principles.

They have shown they have the intestinal fortitude to make the tough decisions that will ultimately save our party and thus our state from being completely overrun by the Chicago Machine Democrats and their Republican followers:
